HARRISBURG, PA — A Wayne County man has been charged with hundreds of offenses after investigators allegedly discovered more than 100 files of child sexual abuse material on electronic devices seized from his residence.
Attorney General Dave Sunday announced that 32-year-old Dylan Calvert of Hawley was arrested and charged with more than 300 counts of sexual abuse of children and one count of criminal use of a communication facility.
According to the Office of Attorney General, investigators determined that Calvert allegedly used a peer-to-peer file-sharing platform in December 2025 to obtain more than 100 images containing child sexual abuse material.
Authorities reported that a subsequent search of Calvert’s residence uncovered the material on multiple electronic devices, including a Samsung cellphone. Investigators also seized an iPhone belonging to Calvert pursuant to a search warrant.
Court records show Calvert’s bail was set at $35,000. As conditions of release, he is prohibited from accessing the internet and from having unsupervised contact with minors.
The investigation was conducted by the Office of Attorney General’s Child Predator Section. Deputy Attorney General Mary Phillips is prosecuting the case.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
