Oxford Woman Arrested on Outstanding Warrants, Police Say

OXFORD, PA — An Oxford woman was taken into custody earlier this month after police confirmed she was wanted on outstanding warrants from multiple jurisdictions, according to the Oxford Police Department.

Authorities say the incident occurred on August 10, 2025, at approximately 6:05 p.m. when officers were advised that a wanted individual was in the 300 block of Manchester Street. Upon arrival, officers made contact with Kayla Hughes, 35, of Oxford, and confirmed that she had an active arrest warrant from West Whiteland Township as well as a bench warrant from Delaware County.

Hughes was taken into custody without incident and transported to Chester County Prison.

Authorities remind the public that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
