WILMINGTON, DE — Delaware State Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Wilmington tobacco store where a masked suspect allegedly displayed a firearm and demanded cash and tobacco products.
Troopers responded to Eagle Tobacco at 3505 Miller Road at approximately 9:10 p.m. Sept. 25 for a reported armed robbery.
Police said a masked person wearing dark clothing entered the business, displayed a firearm and demanded money and tobacco products. The clerk complied with the demands, and the suspect fled the store, according to investigators.
No injuries were reported.
Detectives with the Delaware State Police Troop 2 Criminal Investigations Unit are investigating the robbery. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective D. Patterson at 302-365-8471 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
