PARKESBURG, PA — A Levittown man is facing charges after police said he was among three individuals connected to a stolen vehicle incident Sunday night at a convenience store in Parkesburg.
According to the Parkesburg Borough Police Department, officers responded to the Turkey Hill parking lot at approximately 9:00 p.m. Sunday, where a vehicle believed to be stolen had been located.
Police reported that 22-year-old Jacob Aaron Perkins was identified as one of three male occupants of the vehicle.
According to investigators, Perkins allegedly attempted to flee from officers and resisted arrest before being taken into custody at the scene.
Police said Perkins was transported to Chester County Prison pending arraignment.
He has been charged with theft of a motor vehicle and related offenses, according to authorities.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled to be held at District Court 15-3-07.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
