Man Accused of Lowe’s Refund Fraud in Avondale Arrested

LONDON GROVE TWP., PA — A Parkesburg man faces charges after state police said he used a receipt from another store to fraudulently obtain cash from a Lowe’s in Avondale.

Pennsylvania State Police reported that 31-year-old Antonio Rodriguez was arrested in connection with an incident that occurred at Lowe’s in Avondale.

According to investigators, Rodriguez allegedly removed three items from store shelves and brought them to the customer service desk.

Police said Rodriguez used a receipt from another Lowe’s location to return one of the items and received $412.34 in cash.

After completing the return, investigators reported that Rodriguez allegedly left the store with the remaining two items.

Authorities said the merchandise involved included a Froth-Pak Low GWP 200 spray gun indoor/outdoor spray foam, valued at $389.

State police said charges related to the alleged incident were filed with Magisterial District Court 15-4-04.

All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
