Man Accused of Knocking Victim Unconscious in Royersford Fight

ROYERSFORD, PA — A 44-year-old man was arrested Wednesday night after police said he allegedly struck two people during an argument in the borough, causing one victim to lose consciousness.

According to the Royersford Borough Police Department, officers were dispatched at approximately 7:30 p.m. February 25 to the 500 block of Church Street for a report of a loud argument.

Police stated that upon arrival, officers observed James Bolden, 44, standing over another male, while a female flagged officers down.

Following an investigation, police allege that during a verbal dispute, Bolden struck both victims multiple times, causing one victim to become unconscious.

Bolden was taken into custody at the scene and transported to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility for processing and arraignment, according to police.

He is charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats and simple assault.

All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
