KENNETT SQUARE, PA — The Kennett Square Police Department announced that a 20-year-old local man has been taken into custody following an investigation into allegations of child exploitation, according to local authorities.
Ryan McGowan was arrested on April 9, 2025, after an inquiry into alleged activities occurring at a location in the 900 block of Cedarwood Avenue in West Chester, PA.
McGowan faces multiple charges related to the investigation, including:
- Unlawful Contact with a Minor – Obscene and Other Sexual Material
- Cyber Harassment of a Child
- Corruption of Minors
- Criminal Use of Communication Facility
- Dissemination of Explicit Material to Minors
Authorities have not disclosed additional information regarding the allegations at this time. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
