HARRISBURG, PA — Two Westmoreland County men are facing criminal charges after investigators executed a search warrant that allegedly uncovered 11 firearms and more than 150 grams of cocaine, Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday announced.
According to the Office of Attorney General, agents with the Bureau of Narcotics Investigation, assisted by the Westmoreland County Drug Task Force and the Westmoreland County SWAT team, executed a search warrant Wednesday in the 2100 block of Shaw Street.
Investigators reported recovering 11 firearms—including handguns, shotguns and rifles—and approximately 152.7 grams of cocaine during the search.
Authorities arrested Timothy Bold, 52, and Derek Bold, 22.
According to the Attorney General’s Office, Timothy Bold was charged with 11 felony counts of illegal possession of firearms and one felony count related to drug trafficking. Derek Bold was charged with misdemeanor drug offenses.
Attorney General Sunday alleged that investigators encountered a convicted felon engaged in drug trafficking while executing the warrant. Those allegations have not been proven in court.
The firearms recovered during the search included multiple handguns, rifles and shotguns, according to investigators.
The Westmoreland County District Attorney’s Office will prosecute the case.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
