Cash Grab Shocks Downtown Shop, Suspects Still at Large

OXFORD, PA — Two suspects remain at large after police say they allegedly stole an undisclosed amount of cash from a downtown business late Tuesday night.

According to Oxford police, officers were dispatched at 10:18 p.m. to a business in the downtown area for a reported theft. Police reported that an employee told officers a male and female entered the store at approximately 9:45 p.m.

Investigators said that around 9:54 p.m., the female suspect allegedly took an undisclosed sum of money before both individuals fled the scene on foot. Police reported the pair were last seen heading along Market Street toward Fourth Street.

Oxford police are asking residents and business owners in the area to review any available surveillance footage. Anyone with information or who can identify the individuals is asked to contact Oxford Police at 610-268-3171, call 911, or submit a tip online.

All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
