BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Drivers should prepare for a ramp detour and nearly two weeks of overnight lane closures beginning Monday, September 21, as PennDOT completes bridge repairs along Interstate 295 in Middletown and Lower Makefield townships.

The ramp from Business U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway) to eastbound I-295 will close at 9:00 PM Monday and reopen at 6:00 AM Tuesday.

Drivers will be directed to follow Business U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway), Woodbourne Road, Route 213 (Old Lincoln Highway/Maple Avenue), and U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway) to reach eastbound I-295.

Alternating lane closures will also affect I-295 between Business U.S. 1 and Route 332 (Yardley Newtown Road) from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Mondays through Thursdays, through October 2.

Plan extra time, expect delays near the work zones, and seek alternate routes when possible.
