WILMINGTON, DE — Xtra said it recently previewed its next-generation Muse 2 and Muse 2 Pro pocket cameras ahead of a planned U.S. launch in summer 2026, as it expands its presence among mobile-first content creators.

The company announced the new models following adoption of its first-generation Muse camera in the U.S. after its 2025 debut, positioning the updated lineup to target both casual vloggers and more advanced users.

The Muse 2 is designed for everyday video use, while the Muse 2 Pro introduces a dual-lens system intended to reduce the need for multiple cameras and supporting equipment.

The new models include hardware upgrades such as a physical zoom control, support for 4K video at up to 240 frames per second, 128GB of onboard storage and a rotatable screen designed for both left- and right-handed use.

The devices also feature automated file transfer capabilities intended to move content to mobile devices without requiring the screen to remain active.

Sophia Ma, head of U.S. marketing, said user feedback from the original device influenced the design changes, particularly around portability and ease of use.
