WILMINGTON, DE — WSFS Financial Corp. (Nasdaq: WSFS) is integrating traditional banking and wealth management services at five locations across Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey, expanding its branch strategy to provide customers with access to financial planning, lending and investment services through a single office.
The company is introducing Signature Banking Offices that combine the consumer banking operations of WSFS Bank with the wealth management services of Bryn Mawr Trust, its wealth management division.
The first five locations are planned for Greenville, Delaware; Ardmore, Bryn Mawr and Narberth, Pennsylvania; and Medford Lakes, New Jersey.
The initiative represents a shift toward integrating banking and wealth advisory services within the company’s existing regional footprint, allowing customers to access specialists from both businesses at the same location.
The offices are designed to support customers seeking coordinated assistance with borrowing, saving, financial planning and wealth management rather than navigating those services separately.
Jamie Hopkins, executive vice president and chief wealth officer of WSFS and Bryn Mawr Trust, said the approach is intended to improve collaboration between the company’s banking and advisory teams.
“By bringing our teams together under one roof, we’re giving our Associates the tools, expertise, and collaborative support they need to deliver truly holistic solutions to our clients,” Hopkins said.
The Signature Banking concept also reflects WSFS’s continued investment in physical banking locations alongside its digital services.
WSFS Bank currently operates 87 branches across the Greater Philadelphia and Delaware region. Its distribution network also includes nearly 490 ATMs, online banking and mobile banking platforms.
Shari Kruzinski, executive vice president and chief consumer banking officer of WSFS Bank, said the company views its branch network as a continuing part of its customer service strategy.
“Today’s announcement further underscores our strategy to continue investing in our branch network, alongside our other core banking channels, to effectively meet the needs of our clients in an evolving financial landscape,” Kruzinski said.
The integration brings Bryn Mawr Trust’s wealth management expertise into a broader retail banking environment, creating additional opportunities for WSFS to serve customers with multiple financial needs through its regional offices.
The five Signature Banking Offices mark the initial rollout of the concept across the company’s three-state market.
