WSFS Expands in Lancaster With Banking, Wealth Office

WSFS Financial Corporation

LANCASTER, PA — WSFS Financial Corp. (Nasdaq: WSFS) has expanded its Pennsylvania footprint with a new Lancaster office combining wealth management, private banking and commercial and consumer lending as the Wilmington-based company pushes further into regional markets.

The office at 201 Granite Run Drive, Suite 140, will operate through WSFS Bank and Bryn Mawr Trust, both owned by WSFS Financial. The company said it plans to expand the team with additional hires as the Lancaster operation develops.

David Stork, senior vice president and wealth director, will lead the location. The office will bring together wealth management with mortgage, middle-market, private banking and small-business relationship managers.

The expansion gives WSFS a local platform to pursue both individual and business clients rather than establishing an office focused exclusively on wealth management.

Jamie Hopkins, executive vice president and chief wealth officer for WSFS and Bryn Mawr Trust, pointed to Lancaster’s business activity and population growth as factors behind the expansion.

“We’ve seen firsthand how Lancaster’s economy continues to flourish, from its thriving business scene to a steady wave of new residents choosing to call this city home,” Hopkins said.

Shari Kruzinski, executive vice president and chief consumer banking officer for WSFS Bank, said the Lancaster team will offer services ranging from mortgage financing to Small Business Administration lending.

“As this community grows, our team is here to open doors, whether that means connecting clients with mortgage financing solutions, guiding a business through an SBA loan, or supporting an entrepreneur ready to take the next step,” Kruzinski said.

The Lancaster opening follows another Pennsylvania expansion by Bryn Mawr Trust. The company opened a Doylestown office last year to broaden its wealth and trust management, private banking and investment operations in the region.
