WILMINGTON, DE — Wrtn Technologies has launched OOC, an AI-driven character chat and interactive storytelling platform, in North America across iOS, Android, and web platforms as part of its expansion into English-speaking markets.
OOC is the North American version of Crack, the company’s interactive AI chat platform launched in South Korea in April 2025.
The platform allows users to engage in narrative-driven experiences in which user decisions influence story outcomes in real time.
Wrtn said the system generates text, images, and audio as part of interactive storytelling, with users taking on the role of a central character.
The platform draws on roleplaying concepts, with “OOC” referring to moments when participants step outside a fictional narrative to speak as themselves.
Seyoung Lee, chief executive officer of Wrtn Technologies, said the platform is designed to create interactive narrative environments where users shape story progression.
Wrtn has previously launched similar platforms in South Korea and Japan, where the service has attracted a large user base.
The company said the North American release incorporates localization changes based on its experience in Asian markets.
Wrtn Technologies develops consumer AI platforms focused on interactive digital experiences.
