MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Drivers traveling through Limerick and Upper Providence townships should prepare for five nights of lane closures and delays on U.S. 422 as PennDOT continues resurfacing a 4.4-mile section of the highway.

Eastbound U.S. 422 will have a lane closure between Royersford Road and Troutman Road from 7:00 PM until 5:00 AM the following morning.
Westbound U.S. 422 will have a lane closure between Troutman Road and Royersford Road from 8:00 PM until 6:00 AM the following morning.
Drivers should plan extra time because backups and delays are expected through the work zone. The schedule is weather dependent.
The restrictions are part of a $6.2 million state-funded project to resurface and repair 4.4 miles of U.S. 422. Crews will mill and overlay the pavement, restore pavement markings, reinstall edge-line rumble strips, and complete base repairs where needed.
