Wanted: Suspect for Arson

PHILADELPHIA, PA —  The Philadelphia Police Department is asking the public for help identifying a suspect wanted in connection to a recent arson.

Det. Ken Golczewski with the City Wide Arson Task Force alleges that on May 13, 2023, at approximately 11:15 PM, a nuisance fire was reported on the 300 block of North Broad Street. The fire would extend and cause significant damage to a commercial theatre company nearby. The ATF Arson and Explosives Task Force is requesting the public assistance in identifying the male in a released video segment who was in the area when the fire occurred.

The suspect is a white male, between 30-35 years old with reddish-brown hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing beige shorts, black t-shirt, blue sneakers and has multiple tattoos.
