No detour has been announced. Drivers should reduce speed through the work zone and seek alternate routes when practical.

The work extends through Bethel TWP, Concord TWP, Aston TWP and Chester Heights BORO as part of a regional safety initiative to install improvements aimed at reducing lane departure-related fatal and serious injury crashes across the five-county Philadelphia region.

Road-Con Inc., of West Chester, is the general contractor on the $3.5 million project, which is financed entirely with federal funds.

All scheduled work is weather dependent and may be postponed or rescheduled.
