Upcoming Roadwork Alert: Get Ready for Overnight Lane Closures on Northbound I-95 in Philadelphia

Dinniman: $2.5 Million for Chester County Transportation Projects

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that construction is scheduled next week on sections of northbound Interstate 95 in Philadelphia.

The work schedules and locations are:

  • Monday, July 31, and Tuesday, August 1, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a double lane closure will be in place on northbound I-95 between the Betsy Ross Bridge and Bridge Street interchanges for inlet repair; and
  • Monday, July 31, through Friday, August 4, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a right lane closure will be in place on northbound I-95 between Market Street and South Street for curb and rumble strip removal.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time for travel through the work areas. The schedules are weather dependent.
