BLUE BELL, PA — Unisys (NYSE: UIS) was named to Business Insider’s 2027 list of America’s Most Innovative Businesses, placing the technology-services company among 500 publicly traded U.S. companies recognized for performance in reputation, technological impact and research-and-development investment.
Unisys received a 4.5 out of 5-star rating and was one of 15 companies selected in the IT Services & IT Consulting category.
The ranking was produced by Business Insider and Plant-A Insights Group using a screening process that began with 4,000 publicly traded U.S. companies.
Patent data and financial metrics narrowed the field to 1,600 companies for further evaluation. The final assessment also incorporated peer surveys, patent information and financial filings.
Unisys Chief Executive Officer and President Mike Thomson said the recognition reflects the company’s use of artificial intelligence, technical expertise and internal investment to support client work.
“Innovation is core to how we operate,” Thomson said, citing the company’s combination of AI, technical expertise and investment in future capabilities.
The recognition adds to a series of 2026 workplace and corporate rankings for Unisys, including TIME’s America’s Best Companies, The Economist’s Global Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces and Forbes’ America’s Best Midsize Employers.
