WILMINGTON, DE — Ualett launched an international money-transfer service for U.S. users sending funds to the Dominican Republic, Colombia and Mexico, expanding the fintech company beyond its GigAdvance product into the remittance market.
Ualett Global Transfer is available through the company’s mobile app and is aimed at gig workers, independent contractors, immigrant families and other U.S. customers sending money abroad.
The service provides users with transfer pricing and exchange-rate information before a transaction is completed, along with in-app tracking and secure payment processing.
The launch broadens Ualett’s financial-services platform beyond Ualett GigAdvance, which serves gig workers. The company plans to add more destination countries in the coming months.
“International money transfers are a natural next step in Ualett’s mission to build practical financial tools for the people who keep our economy moving,” co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Ricky Michel Presbot stated.
Ualett is positioning the transfer service as a way for customers to manage domestic financial needs and cross-border payments through the same app.
Users can access Global Transfer within the Ualett app, review transaction details before sending funds and monitor transfers through the mobile interface.
