True Launches Blockchain and Crypto Practice for Executive Search

True

PHILADELPHIA, PA — True has launched a Blockchain and Crypto Practice to support executive hiring and leadership development for companies operating in the digital assets sector.

The practice is led by Tyler Reed, a partner based in the firm’s New York office, and formalizes work the firm has conducted in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space since 2017.

The group will focus on identifying executives for companies across the digital asset ecosystem, including blockchain protocols, exchanges, decentralized finance platforms, and financial institutions expanding into crypto.

True has worked with clients such as NEAR, Coinbase, and Hamsa, as well as venture-backed startups and established financial organizations entering the sector.

“Crypto companies operate in one of the fastest feedback loops in technology,” said Reed, citing rapid market shifts, evolving regulation, and ongoing technological development.

The launch comes as digital assets gain broader adoption and increased institutional investment, including inflows into spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds and continued venture capital funding in the sector.

“Infrastructure is being built today that will underpin the next generation of financial services,” said Sam McGrath, global general manager of True Search.
