TIMAC AGRO Renames Fertilizer Line in U.S. Brand Overhaul

TIMAC AGRO USA

READING, PA — TIMAC AGRO USA is renaming its FERTILEADER liquid biostimulant line SEACTIV as part of a broader U.S. product rebranding, changing how its agricultural products are marketed and identified while retaining their existing formulations and manufacturing processes.

The changes, introduced October 19, represent the company’s first major visual redesign of its liquid biostimulant portfolio in 20 years. They follow similar packaging updates to TIMAC AGRO’s granular fertilizer products earlier in 2026.

The transition affects three product families: FERTILEADER, FERTIACTYL and MAXIFRUIT. The company said the changes are intended to standardize its U.S. branding and align it more closely with its global product identity.

FERTILEADER products will transition to the SEACTIV name, reflecting the marine-derived technology already used in the formulations. The renamed portfolio includes SEACTIV Axis, SEACTIV Copper, SEACTIV Elite and SEACTIV Gold.

The FERTIACTYL line will retain its name but receive updated packaging and logos. Products affected include FERTIACTYL GZ, FERTIACTYL Record and FERTIACTYL RhiZn.

MAXIFRUIT will also retain its name while adopting a redesigned logo and packaging.

Across the portfolio, the company is introducing consistent blue branding, a white leaf icon and updated product identifiers. Containers will gradually transition from gray to beige, with blue caps.

Stephanie Vrakas Bagshaw, chief executive officer of TIMAC AGRO USA, said the changes are intended to improve product recognition without altering the agricultural inputs customers currently purchase.

“By creating a stronger visual connection across our portfolio, we are making it easier for customers to recognize the products they already trust as part of the TIMAC AGRO family,” she said.

The company emphasized that the transition does not affect product formulations, guaranteed analyses, application rates or recommended uses.

The revised packaging will enter the U.S. distribution system gradually as existing inventory is sold, meaning growers, agricultural retailers and dealers may encounter both versions during the transition.

That approach allows the company to introduce the new branding without requiring customers to replace existing products or change their application practices.

The redesign also places greater emphasis on the technologies associated with each product family. FERTIACTYL’s new molecular-style logo represents its patented GZA technology, while SEACTIV’s seaweed symbol identifies the marine origin of its technology.

TIMAC AGRO, founded in 1959, develops products for soil nutrition, plant nutrition, biostimulation and animal production. Its U.S. business works with growers and universities on crop-specific nutrition programs.

The rebranding consolidates the company’s product presentation across liquid and granular fertilizer categories without changing the underlying products sold to U.S. agricultural customers.
