Torres brings extensive experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and financial operations, making him a strategic addition to the company’s leadership team as it focuses on strengthening its financial foundation and enhancing shareholder value.
Torres’s career spans senior roles in public and private companies, where he has successfully overseen complex financial strategies, transactions, and operational initiatives. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Finance at Obsess Inc., leading the company’s financial strategy during a key acquisition. His accomplishments at Obsess Inc. include developing revenue recognition frameworks, launching an internal accounts payable system, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and external audit standards.
Prior to Obsess Inc., Torres was Senior Manager of Corporate Finance and Strategy at Exactera LLC, where he managed the company’s mergers and acquisitions pipeline and capital raising initiatives. Earlier in his career, Torres spent over five years in investment banking, where he executed complex transactions including high-yield and investment-grade bonds for corporate development and refinancing activities.
