CLAYMONT, DE — ShowMojo has launched a beta version of an artificial intelligence virtual agent designed to respond to rental inquiries, qualify prospective tenants, and guide them toward scheduling property showings.
The tool provides automated responses through web chat and text messaging, allowing property managers to engage with leads outside standard business hours.
ShowMojo said about 70% of prospective tenants search for properties after hours, and delays in responding to questions can lead to lost opportunities.
The virtual agent is designed to answer listing-specific questions, including credit requirements, pet policies, and unit details, while capturing and storing conversation data within the platform.
Chief Executive Officer Vanessa Anderson said the tool is intended to reduce missed inquiries and improve conversion rates.
“Every unanswered question is a missed opportunity to fill a unit,” Anderson said.
The company said its platform currently converts about 54% of leads into scheduled showings and expects the new feature to improve those rates.
The system also allows prospects to move between web and text-based conversations, while automating responses to common questions and reducing manual workload for property management staff.
ShowMojo provides leasing automation tools for property managers, including scheduling, tenant screening, and self-guided showing coordination.
