WEST EARL TWP, PA — Drivers traveling northbound on Route 222 should prepare for delays as PennDOT repairs a section of the bridge over Church Street in West Earl Township, Lancaster County.

PennDOT said most of the project’s roadway work has already been completed. The remaining lane and ramp restrictions are needed to finish the final stages of construction.
The bridge repair is part of a $8.49 million pavement preservation project covering 3.3 miles of Route 222 in Manheim, Warwick and West Earl townships. The project includes resurfacing, full-width milling, base repairs, concrete patching, guiderail improvements, line painting and sign upgrades between the Bushong Road and Pool Road overhead bridges.
New Enterprise Stone and Lime Company Inc. of New Enterprise is the project’s contractor.
