LANCASTER COUNTY, PA — Drivers should prepare for daytime lane restrictions on Route 222 as PennDOT conducts rescheduled bridge inspections over Cocalico Creek in West Earl and Warwick townships.

Right lane and shoulder restrictions will be in place on northbound Route 222 on Tuesday, August 11, while inspectors examine the bridge over Cocalico Creek.
The restrictions will shift to southbound Route 222 on Wednesday, August 12, during the same daytime hours.
No detour has been announced. Drivers should plan extra time because travel delays are expected through the inspection areas. Seek alternate routes when practical and remain alert for workers, equipment and merging traffic.
Inspectors will use a bridge inspection crane positioned on the highway to examine the structures.
The work is weather dependent and may be rescheduled again if conditions are unfavorable.
