EAST COCALICO TWP, PA — Drivers traveling southbound on Route 222 in Lancaster County should prepare for lane restrictions and possible delays Monday as PennDOT crews inspect the Peiffer Hill Road bridge.

According to PennDOT, a bridge inspection is scheduled for the Peiffer Hill Road structure over southbound Route 222 in East Cocalico Township.

The work will take place Monday, June 29, weather permitting. A southbound right lane restriction will be in effect from 9:00 a.m. to noon, followed by a southbound left lane restriction from noon to 3:00 p.m.

Inspectors will use a specialized bridge inspection crane operating from the roadway to examine the structure.
