According to PennDOT, a bridge inspection is scheduled for the Peiffer Hill Road structure over southbound Route 222 in East Cocalico Township.
The work will take place Monday, June 29, weather permitting. A southbound right lane restriction will be in effect from 9:00 a.m. to noon, followed by a southbound left lane restriction from noon to 3:00 p.m.
Inspectors will use a specialized bridge inspection crane operating from the roadway to examine the structure.
No detour has been announced, but motorists should expect delays as traffic shifts around the inspection operation. Plan extra time for travel through the area and seek alternate routes if possible during work hours.
