Robbery Suspect Apprehended after In-Depth Investigation

WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police announced the arrest of a man on robbery charges following an investigation.

The criminal complaint alleges that on August 9, at approximately 9:40 a.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 700 block of North Washington Street, in reference to a robbery. The case was assigned to Detective James Rook of the Criminal Investigations Division.

Through the course of his investigation, Detective Rook identified 36-year-old Victor White as a suspect and obtained warrants for his arrest. On October 10, White was taken into custody without incident.

White has been charged with the following offense:

  • Robbery (Second Degree)

He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 20 and was released after posting $5,250 secured bail.
