PHILADELPHIA, PA — Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard is bringing back its limited-time 4th of Gelati through July 5 as the company seeks to capitalize on summer traffic and holiday spending during one of the busiest periods of the frozen-dessert season.
The Philadelphia-based chain announced the seasonal product’s return ahead of the Independence Day holiday, pairing the offering with a loyalty program promotion aimed at driving repeat customer visits.
The 4th of Gelati features five layers of blue Italian Ice, Vanilla Frozen Custard and red Italian Ice topped with a decorative Firecracker Glitter finish. The product is available at participating Rita’s locations nationwide.
The promotion arrives as restaurant and dessert brands increasingly rely on limited-time offerings and loyalty incentives to boost customer engagement during key seasonal sales periods.
In addition to the product launch, Rita’s will offer double loyalty punches to Rita’s Ice app users who purchase the 5-Layer Gelati between June 29 and July 5.

The 4th of Gelati will remain available through July 5 at participating locations.
