WILMINGTON, DE — Qnity Electronics, Inc. (NYSE: Q) has joined the PHLX Semiconductor Sector Index, placing the Wilmington technology company among 30 large eligible U.S.-listed semiconductor businesses tracked by the benchmark.
The PHLX Semiconductor Sector Index, known as SOX, is a modified market capitalization-weighted index designed to track the performance of the 30 largest eligible semiconductor companies listed in the U.S.
Qnity operates across the semiconductor value chain, providing materials and technology used in semiconductor manufacturing and high-speed transmission within electronic systems.
“Joining the PHLX Semiconductor Sector Index marks another important milestone for Qnity as a public company,” Chief Executive Officer Jon Kemp said.
Kemp said the company’s inclusion reflects its scale across the semiconductor value chain and its role in technologies supporting artificial intelligence, high-performance computing and advanced connectivity.
