PHILADELPHIA, PA — Qlik has earned Amazon Web Services’ AI Competency designation for Agentic AI Applications, a certification that positions the data analytics company within a growing market for enterprise artificial intelligence systems capable of automating complex business processes.
The designation recognizes companies that have demonstrated technical expertise and customer deployments involving autonomous AI applications running on AWS infrastructure.
The recognition comes as businesses increasingly seek to move beyond generative AI chatbots toward systems that can analyze information, make recommendations and execute tasks with limited human intervention.
Qlik’s qualification was based on its work helping organizations deploy AI applications that integrate large volumes of structured and unstructured enterprise data into operational workflows.
The AWS competency program evaluates partners through technical reviews and customer reference assessments intended to validate real-world implementation experience.
Drew Clarke, Qlik’s executive vice president of product and technology, argued that effective agentic AI systems require access to reliable business data in order to make decisions and take actions.
“Agentic AI enterprise systems go beyond answering questions. They reason, recommend and act,” Clarke stated. “That makes trusted business context essential.”
The company’s platform integrates with Amazon Bedrock, AWS’s managed generative AI service, allowing organizations to build and manage AI applications using multiple large language models.
Qlik indicated that its Qlik Answers product is being positioned to support automated knowledge retrieval across both structured databases and unstructured information sources.
The designation reflects intensifying competition among software vendors seeking to establish positions in the emerging market for enterprise AI agents, where organizations are experimenting with applications ranging from workflow automation and customer service to content generation and operational decision support.
AWS’s competency program is designed to identify partners with specialized expertise in deploying enterprise-grade AI systems across a range of business use cases.
