Philadelphia Police Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Suspects in Spruce Street Robbery

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department is appealing to the public for assistance in identifying individuals connected to a robbery that occurred on the 1200 block of Spruce Street.

On November 5, 2023, at approximately 4:00 am, a 55-year-old male victim was reportedly knocked to the ground by unknown assailants. The suspects allegedly took the victim’s cell phone and credit cards. Charges totaling approximately $13,000 were subsequently made on the victim’s Apple credit card at various locations.

The victim sustained a significant laceration to the back of his head as a result of the incident. The police department has released still photos and a video clip in an attempt to identify the perpetrators.

The public is urged not to approach the suspects if they are seen, but to contact 911 immediately. Tips can be submitted via telephone at 215.686.TIPS (8477) or texted to the same number. All tips will be kept confidential.
