PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department and the Shooting Investigations Group have issued a public appeal for assistance in identifying two suspects believed to be involved in an armed robbery at a bar located on the 400 block of East Wyoming Avenue.
The alleged incident occurred at approximately 4:00 am on February 15, 2024. According to police reports, two individuals entered the bar, immediately fired at a group of patrons, and struck a 61-year-old male in his left leg. The suspects then allegedly held the patrons at gunpoint, robbing them of jewelry and cash before fleeing the scene on foot. They were last seen running on D Street towards Louden Street.
The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male with a thin build, wearing a dark blue over tan puffy coat with a full zipper, light blue distressed style jeans, black sneakers, and a balaclava mask. The second suspect is also described as a Hispanic male with a thin build, wearing a dark blue puffy coat with a full zipper, black pants, black sneakers, and a black balaclava mask.
The police department has urged anyone who recognizes these individuals or has information about the crime to contact the Shooting Investigations Group at 215-686-8271, quoting case ID# DC 24-25-009529. Those who wish to remain anonymous can dial 215.686.TIPS (8477) or text a tip to the same number.
As a precaution, the public is advised not to approach these suspects but to call 911 immediately.
