PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects involved in an attempted armed robbery that occurred on the 1900 block of Bainbridge Street.

The incident allegedly took place at approximately 12:40 p.m. on Friday, August 11th, 2023. The victim, a 32-year-old woman, was walking by two unknown males who were seated on a step. As she passed by, one of the suspects stood up and brandished a black handgun at her, while the second suspect demanded her belongings and physically assaulted her by pulling on the shoulder strap of her bag.
