Philadelphia Police Department Seeks Information on Homicide Suspect, Offering $20,000 Reward

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department is appealing for public assistance in locating a suspect involved in a homicide incident that occurred on the 5200 block of Walnut Street.

The incident happened at approximately 3:10 PM on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. According to police reports, an unidentified black male armed with a handgun shot and killed victims while they were walking east on Walnut Street. After committing the crime, the suspect fled north on 53rd Street. He was last seen on foot in the vicinity of Market and Paxon streets.

The City of Philadelphia is offering a reward of $20,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the culprit responsible for this homicide.

The Philadelphia Police Department urges anyone who sees the suspect not to approach him but to contact 911 immediately.
