Perspecta Overhauls Provider Search for Health Plans

Perspecta

LANGHORNE, PA — Perspecta has redesigned its ProviderDirectoryAI platform to streamline how health plans, workers’ compensation organizations and healthcare professionals locate and evaluate medical providers, expanding the company’s healthcare navigation capabilities across multiple user groups.

The Langhorne-based provider data management company introduced changes to its provider directory interface that allow users to search, compare and filter healthcare professionals more efficiently across mobile devices, tablets and desktop computers.

The redesign targets a central operational function for health insurers and workers’ compensation administrators: helping members, case managers and claims professionals identify appropriate providers within available healthcare networks.

Perspecta’s updated platform offers three ways to display search results, including list, map and card views. Interactive maps and distance-based sorting allow users to compare provider locations and identify nearby care options.

The company also simplified its search filters, reorganized provider profiles and added shortcuts to frequently searched medical specialties.

Provider profiles display information including practice locations, professional details, ratings and affiliations, with additional information available through expanded views.

For health plans and other organizational clients, the platform supports customized information within the search interface, including member benefits, healthcare programs and educational resources.

The changes are designed to accommodate different workflows, from consumers searching for specialists to workers’ compensation professionals identifying providers for injured employees.

“Finding the right provider should be simple, regardless of who is searching or what device they are using,” said April Stiles, chief executive officer of Perspecta.

Stiles attributed the redesign to feedback from clients and users, which informed changes to navigation, search functions and the presentation of provider information.

ProviderDirectoryAI combines Perspecta’s provider data with search and navigation tools used by healthcare organizations to connect members and other users with medical professionals.

The company is also positioning the redesigned interface for additional functionality, including future AI-assisted conversational search.

That capability is not identified as part of the current redesign but represents a planned extension of the platform’s existing provider search functions.

The update reflects Perspecta’s continued investment in healthcare navigation software serving insurers, network managers and workers’ compensation organizations, with an emphasis on improving access to provider information and reducing the complexity of finding care.
