Penske Names 2025 Suppliers of the Year Across 13 Categories

READING, PA — Penske Truck Leasing named 13 companies as its 2025 Suppliers of the Year at a recent supplier conference in Frisco, Texas, based on field surveys, corporate feedback and performance scorecards.

The biennial awards recognized suppliers across equipment, components and services categories.

Daimler Truck North America was named Best Performing Supplier, Overall, while International Motors received Best Innovative Supplier.

Freightliner was recognized for heavy- and medium-duty chassis, and GMC for light-duty chassis.

Thermo King was named top supplier for mobile refrigeration, and Detroit Diesel Corporation for heavy-duty engines.

Maxon Lift Corp. received the liftgate award, while Bridgestone Americas was recognized for tires.

Fontaine Fifth Wheel was honored for components, and Allison Transmission Holdings for heavy- and medium-duty transmissions.

Imperial Supplies was named top services supplier, Great Dane for trailers, and Morgan Truck Body for truck bodies.

“With one of the industry’s largest fleets, it is imperative that our vehicle manufacturers, and parts and service suppliers, provide Penske with consistent and reliable services,” said Gregg Mangione, executive vice president of maintenance at Penske Truck Leasing.
