FORT WASHINGTON, PA — Patriot Growth Insurance Services has appointed human resources executive Andrea Brogger as chief people officer, adding leadership focused on talent development and workforce strategy as the insurance brokerage continues its expansion.
The appointment places Brogger in charge of talent management, executive compensation, succession planning, organizational development and producer development programs, functions that are increasingly important as rapidly growing brokerages compete for experienced insurance professionals and acquisition integration talent.
Patriot announced the hire this week, describing the move as part of its effort to align workforce planning with long-term business objectives.
Brogger joins Patriot with nearly 20 years of human resources leadership experience. She previously held executive roles at insurance brokerage firms AssuredPartners and Broadstreet Partners, as well as workforce solutions company TrueBlue.
According to the company, her experience includes developing talent strategies for high-growth organizations, overseeing organizational transformation efforts and helping businesses scale their workforce operations.
“Andrea brings a unique combination of strategic leadership, business acumen, and deep expertise in talent development,” Patriot CEO John Galaviz said in a statement. “As we continue to invest in our people and build the next chapter of Patriot’s growth, Andrea’s experience developing high-performing teams and scalable talent strategies will be invaluable.”
Patriot said Brogger has experience building human resources functions and supporting organizations through significant workforce expansion, including helping grow operations from roughly 1,100 employees to more than 11,000 employees.
The hire comes as insurance brokerages across the country continue to invest in recruiting, retention and succession planning amid ongoing industry consolidation and competition for experienced producers and leadership talent.
“I’m excited to join Patriot at such an important time in the company’s growth,” Brogger said. “I look forward to partnering with the leadership team to continue attracting, developing, and supporting the talent that will drive Patriot’s future success.”
Brogger holds a master’s degree in human resources management from Cornell University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. She has also completed executive education programs through Harvard Business School.
