MONTGOMERY TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that the Five-Points Intersection, where Route 309, Route 463, and Business U.S. 202 meet in Montgomery Township, will be closed overnight for overhead sign construction.
The closure will take place from 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 5, until 5:00 a.m. on Monday, October 6. Detours will be in place for all approaching roadways, including Route 309, Route 463, and Business U.S. 202, with motorists redirected along nearby streets and highways.
The work is part of PennDOT’s $14.2 million effort to improve safety and traffic flow at the busy intersection. Drivers should expect delays and allow additional travel time. All work is weather dependent.
