Orchestra BioMed Grants 133,000 Options to New Hires

NEW HOPE, PA — Orchestra BioMed Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: OBIO) granted options covering 133,000 shares to seven newly hired employees on Sept. 1, using equity compensation to support hiring as the biomedical company advances two product candidates through pivotal clinical trials.

The awards were made under the company’s 2025 New Hire Inducement Plan and were intended as employment inducements under Nasdaq Listing Rule 5635(c)(4), Orchestra BioMed reported.

The stock options will vest over four years.

The grants come as Orchestra BioMed develops two lead programs through partnerships and late-stage clinical testing.

Its Atrioventricular Interval Modulation, or AVIM, Therapy is being developed as a pacemaker-delivered bioelectronic treatment for hypertension. The company is working with Medtronic on development and commercialization of the therapy for patients with uncontrolled hypertension who are indicated for a pacemaker.

AVIM Therapy has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration Breakthrough Device Designations for that patient population, according to Orchestra BioMed.

The company’s other flagship candidate, the Virtue Sirolimus AngioInfusion Balloon, is being developed for atherosclerotic artery disease. The system is designed to deliver an extended-release formulation of sirolimus during angioplasty.

Virtue SAB has received FDA Breakthrough Device Designations for coronary in-stent restenosis, coronary small vessel disease and below-the-knee peripheral artery disease.

Both programs are undergoing pivotal clinical trials for their lead indications.
