NEWARK, DE — The OpenSSL Corporation and the OpenSSL Foundation have announced the inaugural OpenSSL Conference 2025, scheduled for October 7 to 9 in Prague, Czech Republic. Hosted at the Vienna House by Wyndham Diplomat Prague, this groundbreaking event will gather cryptography experts, developers, legal minds, and open-source contributors for three days of collaboration and learning.
The conference will feature four dedicated tracks, evening networking events, and sessions designed to explore the future of open-source security. “The first-ever OpenSSL Conference brings our global community together to shape the future of open-source security,” said Tim Hudson, President of the OpenSSL Corporation.
A call for papers is currently open, inviting professionals with relevant experience to submit proposals before May 31, 2025. Matt Caswell, President of the OpenSSL Foundation, emphasized the event’s inclusivity, describing it as “ideal for a wide range of professionals and open-source enthusiasts alike.”
