PHILADELPHIA, PA — PennDOT announced that nighttime lane closures will occur on I-676 next week as crews repair fiber optic cables near the Broad Street (Route 611) exit. The work is part of a $24.3 million project to upgrade Intelligent Transportation Systems across regional highways.
From Monday, October 20, through Friday, October 31, lane closures will take place on eastbound and/or westbound I-676 between the 17th Street and 12th Street overpasses from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM. Motorists should expect delays and allow extra travel time. All work is weather dependent.
