  • Roads Affected: Tacony Street, Aramingo Avenue, Harbison Avenue, Bridge Street
  • Dates: Monday, June 8, through Friday, June 26
  • Times: 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM

PennDOT said Tacony Street will be closed nightly between Aramingo Avenue and Bridge Street beginning Monday, June 8, and continuing through Friday, June 26.

Northbound drivers on Tacony Street will be directed to use Aramingo Avenue/Harbison Avenue and then turn right onto Bridge Street to reconnect with Tacony Street.

Southbound motorists will be directed to turn right onto Bridge Street and then left onto Aramingo Avenue/Harbison Avenue to bypass the closure.

PennDOT said drivers should expect changing traffic patterns, reduced travel speeds, and possible backups along both the work zone and detour routes. Plan extra time for overnight travel and seek alternate routes when practical.
