CHESTER, PA — The New Pennsylvania Project (NPP) is celebrating the release of the 10th episode of Slingshot The Podcast, a series aimed at amplifying underrepresented voices and promoting civic engagement across the state.
Hosted by NPP founding CEO Kadida Kenner, the podcast blends conversations on culture, politics, justice, and entertainment while centering the perspectives of the Black community, with a particular focus on engaging Black men in the democratic process. Past guests have included former NFL players and community leaders sharing personal insights on how politics shapes everyday life.
Episode 10, titled “Last Night a DJ Saved My Life”, explores the intersection of music, community, and leadership in driving social change. New episodes air bi-weekly on Thursdays and are available on major podcast platforms.
NPP launched the series earlier this year as part of its broader effort to combat misinformation and mobilize voters ahead of the 2025 elections.
