NEW HOPE, PA — A galaxy far, far away is landing right in Bucks County as New Hope transforms into an immersive, town-wide Star Wars celebration spanning four days of themed fun, food, and surprises.

What was once a one-day event has expanded into a massive, four-day experience from May 1 through May 4, with more than 60 local businesses joining forces to create one of the region’s most creative and interactive spring traditions.

From boutique shops and galleries to restaurants and bars, nearly every corner of New Hope will take part—offering themed drinks, specialty menus, retail discounts, giveaways, and interactive experiences that encourage visitors to explore the town block by block.

“This is one of those weekends that shows exactly what New Hope does best,” said Michael Sklar, president of the Greater New Hope Chamber of Commerce. “It’s creative, it’s artsy, and with 60 small businesses putting their own spin on it, the entire town becomes an experience.”

A major highlight arrives on Sunday, May 3, when members of the 501st Legion (Garrison Carida) will roam the streets from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., bringing movie-quality costumes and photo opportunities that make the experience feel truly out of this world.

Throughout the weekend, visitors can expect everything from themed cocktails and creative dishes to playful promotions—especially for those who show up in costume or know the right phrase (“May the Force be with you” may come in handy).

The event is powered almost entirely by small, independent businesses, giving each stop its own personality and encouraging guests to dive deeper into New Hope’s vibrant downtown.
