BUCKINGHAM, PA — In a joint statement, the Buckingham Township and Haverford Township Police Departments announced that 60-year-old Terry Lynn Markuske has been apprehended and is currently being held at the Bucks County Jail. Markuske was taken into custody on January 16, 2024, following a series of alleged theft-related crimes spanning at least six states.

The allegations against Markuske originate from an incident that occurred on February 17, 2023, at the TruMark Financial Credit Union branch located on Levittown Parkway in Levittown, Bucks County. Markuske allegedly used a fraudulent Pennsylvania driver’s license and account information to withdraw $500 from an unsuspecting victim’s account.

The charges levied against Markuske include forgery – altering writing, identity theft, forgery – unauthorized act in writing, tampering with public records or information, theft by deception – false impression, and receiving stolen property. Both the Buckingham Township and Haverford Township Police Departments hold separate arrest warrants for Markuske related to her alleged crimes.

As always, it is important to remember that information, a criminal complaint, or an arrest does not constitute a declaration of guilt. Every suspect, arrestee, or defendant, including Markuske, is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
