CLAYMONT, DE — MTechZilla reported 200% revenue growth in 2026 from a year earlier as U.S. startups increased spending on artificial intelligence development and the deployment of AI tools into production systems.
The custom software developer attributed the increase to demand for AI product development, workflow automation and engineering support. The privately held company did not disclose revenue figures or the period covered by the comparison.
MTechZilla expanded its engineering workforce from 20 employees to more than 30 over the past year and increased its U.S. customer base, according to the company.
The growth reflects a broader shift among startups from testing generative AI tools to integrating them into commercial products and internal operations, where performance and reliability carry greater financial and operational consequences.
“U.S. startups are done experimenting with AI; they want it working reliably in production,” founder Sharvin Shah stated. “Poorly implemented AI hallucinates and breaks trust.”
MTechZilla reported that an invoice-processing system developed by the company has handled more than 1 million invoices. Another system designed to categorize and resolve customer-support issues processes more than 10,000 bookings per month.
The company also cited work for a Chicago-based emergency housing technology provider that expanded from two employees to 40 and now serves more than 700 agencies. MTechZilla remains its engineering partner.
A platform developed for a Swiss electric-vehicle startup manages more than 5,000 charging stations and processes over 1 million charging sessions per month, according to MTechZilla.
The company has delivered more than 40 software products for customers in the U.S. and Europe since 2021.
MTechZilla provides custom software development, dedicated engineering teams and staff augmentation. Its services also include placing engineers within client teams to develop and deploy AI features.
