CAERNARVON TWP, PA — Morgan Truck Body has appointed Vik Shah as president and Kevin Hoban as senior vice president of operations, the company announced, as it updates leadership at the North American manufacturer of light- and medium-duty truck bodies.
Shah succeeds Corby Stover, who is retiring after leading the company through a period of expansion and operational growth.
Shah will oversee all commercial and operational functions, including a network of 14 manufacturing facilities and eight service centers across the United States and Canada.
He brings more than 30 years of experience in global manufacturing, most recently serving as president of Piston Interiors, a division of the Piston Group.
Earlier, Shah was group president at The Woodbridge Group, where he oversaw 35 manufacturing plants across nine countries, and also served as chief technical officer.
Norb Markert, president and chief operating officer of parent company J.B. Poindexter & Co., said Shah’s experience positions him to lead the company’s next phase.
“Vik’s track record of driving sustainable growth in the highly competitive automotive landscape makes him the ideal leader to guide Morgan into its next chapter,” Markert said.
Hoban will lead operations across production control, purchasing, manufacturing, safety and continuous improvement.
He has 34 years of operational leadership experience, including 28 years at Lear Corp. in multiple executive roles across the United States and Europe, and six years at HNI overseeing office furniture operations.
Morgan Truck Body, founded in 1952 and headquartered in Morgantown, is a subsidiary of J.B. Poindexter & Co.
