RADNOR, PA — MOLECULE recently introduced its Reflex Collection of mattresses and sleep products and is promoting sleep’s role in athletic performance through activations tied to the Boston Marathon.
The company said the Reflex Collection includes hybrid and all-foam models designed to improve sleep quality and physical recovery through support and temperature regulation features.
The line incorporates LiftCOR body support technology, along with cooling systems such as CoolVENT and AirTEC PRO, which the company said increase airflow compared with traditional memory foam. Additional features include phase change materials and perimeter support designed to stabilize the sleep surface.
The Reflex Collection is manufactured in the United States using CertiPUR-US certified foams and is backed by a 15-year limited warranty. Prices range from $1,299 to $2,499.
MOLECULE is also partnering with runners participating in the Boston Marathon to highlight the role of sleep in performance and recovery, documenting pre- and post-race routines.
Research cited by the company indicates that adequate sleep can improve reaction time, endurance, and athletic performance, while insufficient sleep is associated with increased injury risk and slower recovery. The Sleep Foundation reported that a Stanford study of basketball players who increased sleep to 10 hours per night saw faster sprint times and at least a 9% improvement in shooting accuracy.
Despite those findings, many athletes do not meet the recommended 7 to 9 hours of sleep per night.
Harold J. Earley, president and chief executive officer of FXI, said the company’s products are designed around recovery science and performance outcomes.
MOLECULE products are used by professional athletes, including soccer player Alex Morgan, according to the company.
Separately, the company said its Engage Collection is now available in New England through Cardi’s Furniture & Mattresses, with prices ranging from $2,199 to $3,599.
Both the Reflex and Engage collections are available at moleculesleep.com and through select retail partners nationwide.
