CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — Madrigal Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Nasdaq: MDGL) will present at the Cantor Global Healthcare Conference on Sept. 10, putting the commercial and clinical strategy around its MASH treatment Rezdiffra before investors as the company works to extend the drug into more advanced liver disease.
The presentation is scheduled for 1 p.m. EDT on Thursday, Madrigal stated. A live webcast will be available through the Events and Presentations section of the company’s investor relations website, with a replay available afterward.
Madrigal’s Rezdiffra, or resmetirom, is a once-daily oral treatment targeting metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis, or MASH. The liver-directed THR-β agonist is approved by both the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and European Commission for patients with MASH and moderate to advanced fibrosis, known as stages F2 to F3.
The company is also testing Rezdiffra in an ongoing Phase 3 outcomes trial for compensated MASH cirrhosis, or F4c, potentially extending the drug’s use into a more advanced stage of the disease.
